2021 Bourbon Barrel
After aging in wine barrels, this red wine (Tannat) is “pumped over” into empty whiskey barrels, which have approximately 3 ½ gallons of bourbon still “soaked up” inside the barrel. Then, as we say around the winery, “the wine and whiskey get frisky,” a romance of sorts, producing this beautiful baby of Bourbon Barrel. This wine shows great color of deep purple, a beautiful nose with a hint of bourbon, which provides a truly perfect glass of red wine. This Bourbon Barrel Tannat pleases even the most sophisticated of wine connoisseurs with its well-balanced structure, superb mouthfeel, and a lingering finish that is smooth and silky.
