THE VINES
This Pinot Noir is sourced from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. The grapes were hand-harvested in the early morning to preserve the delicate and crisp palate.
WINEMAKING
The wine was aged for 19 months in a combination of French oak barrels: 80% second-use and 20% new oak. The fruit was expertly blended from individual vineyard lots to create this powerful and balanced wine.
TASTING NOTES
This is a "big" Pinot Noir with a meaty, bold, and rich character. It provides a richly textured palate with subtle tannins and a delightful finish. The aromatics offer notes of red cherry, raspberry, and clove with hints of vanilla. On the palate, you'll find hints of tobacco, vanilla, and baking spice.
FOOD PAIRINGS
This wine pairs beautifully with leg of lamb, wild game, and smoked turkey. It also complements risotto and cheeses such as brie, gouda, and manchego.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
A daring take on Pinot Noir—bold yet refined. It is ideal for fans of fuller-bodied reds who still love finesse.
